22 September 2026, Putrajaya — #CIMTConnects: The Director of the Centre for IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation (CIMT) paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Suzilah Mohd Sidek, Undersecretary of Southeast Asia Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia.
The meeting provided an opportunity to share the latest developments in IMT-GT cooperation, including the partnership with the Republic of India and potential avenues for expanding engagement with other development partners.
CIMT also discussed how the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can support these partnerships and explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration and engagement with other parties.
The visit reaffirmed the importance of close coordination between CIMT and Malaysia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in advancing IMT-GT cooperation and strengthening the subregion’s external partnerships.
